Color & Glue

Through October 31 · 11:59 PM ET

EQ for color. Vari-mu for glue. One chain.

Two Undertone plugins built to work together. The MPEQ-1 shapes tone and adds saturation on every band. The UnFairchild 670M MkII holds it all together the way only a vari-mu tube compressor can. Buy them together and the pair is $229 instead of $298.

Color

MPEQ-1 Plugin

Super-parametric saturation EQ. Four bands with continuously variable shape, and switchable solid-state or tube saturation on every band, so the harmonic color goes exactly where you want it.

Glue

UnFairchild 670M MkII Plugin

The vari-mu tube compressor, as a plugin, developed by MIXLAND and Eric Valentine. The glue that pulls a vocal, a drum bus or a whole mix together without flattening it.

EQ before compression, or after?

Before: the compressor reacts to the tone you've shaped. After: you're coloring something that's already held together. With the MPEQ-1 and the UnFairchild on the same track, you can hear it both ways in about ten seconds, and keep whichever one the song wants.

Already own one of them?

If you own the MPEQ-1 or the UnFairchild, we emailed you an owner price on the other one. Can't find it? Get in touch and we'll sort you out.

Want to hear them first?

Both plugins have a 14-day free trial: try the MPEQ-1 or try the UnFairchild. The $229 bundle price runs through October 31.

Offer ends October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Bundle price applies when the MPEQ-1 and UnFairchild 670M MkII plugins are purchased together in one order at digital.undertoneaudio.com. Cannot be combined with other discounts.
